Chinese Soy Imports Fall 14% on Year
USAgNet - 12/09/2022

China imported 7.35 million tonnes of soybeans in November, down 14% from a year earlier, customs data showed on Wednesday.

Reuters reports that the situation was caused as low river levels in key supplier the United States slowed the flow of beans to export terminals.

Imports in the first 11 months of the year are down 8.1% at 80.53 million tonnes, according to the General Administration of Customs data.
