Hardee's Tests Seasonal Meals with 'Thanksgiving in a Box'

Hardee's announced a test of its first-ever Thanksgiving in a Box, a limited-time meal that offers a fresh spin on staple holiday flavors. The new seasonal offering, which will be tested at participating restaurants in Jacksonville, Fla., will feature Stuffing Breaded Tenders, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, Toasted Onion Coated Green Beans and Savory Chicken Gravy -- all offering a stress-free, delicious alternative to traditional holiday favorites.

With the innovative twists on classic holiday items coming to the menu, new research from Hardee's sheds light on the ways in which Americans are breaking from their traditional holiday meals and craving new foods this season. The new study shows that nearly half (45%) of respondents are exploring alternatives to the traditional Thanksgiving -- in fact, more than one-quarter (26%) are simply tired of the same recipes year after year, and more than one-third (35%) are looking to cut the stress and go out to eat. From sides to entrees, nearly two-thirds (64%) would switch out the standard turkey, and the majority (53%) are hoping to see new side dishes on the menu this year.

The new Thanksgiving in a Box is available starting at $6.99 plus tax through Dec. 3 while supplies last.
