Sahale Snacks Launches First-Ever Team USA Partnership
Ohio Ag Connection - 01/18/2018

In celebration of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Sahale Snacks, Orrville, Ohio, announced its first-ever collaboration with Team USA. Sahale Snacks believes that greatness comes from daring combinations, and celebrates Team USA athletes who embody the brand's adventurous spirit.

To perfectly exemplify "Daring Combinations," Sahale Snacks teamed up with halfpipe skier Torin Yater-Wallace, slopestyle skier McRae Williams and snowboarder Hailey Langland to encourage fans to take that path to greatness this winter.

"In preparation for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, I spend most of my days on the slopes training and competing nonstop," said Yater-Wallace. "In between runs, Sahale Snacks Maple Pecans Glazed Mix is my go-to, as it fuels me to keep going. Sahale Snacks flavor combinations inspire my most daring tricks, like a personal favorite the Rodeo 7 Blunt, because I never want to settle for ordinary -- on or off the slopes."

Much like Sahale Snacks combines nuts, dried fruits and exotic spices for adventurous snacks, Olympic athletes take a risk with Daring Combinations on their path toward greatness. Starting today, fans will get an immersive inside look at the development of Yater-Wallace, as he shares 360° videos demonstrating his practice runs leading up to the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

Sahale Snacks was founded in Seattle in 2003 by Josh Schroeter and Edmond Sanctis. After climbing Mt. Rainier and enduring days of uninspiring trail mix and energy bars, the two friends set out to create healthy, convenient, great-tasting snacks, starting with the natural wholesomeness of nuts and fruit. It is owned by J.M. Smucker Company.
