Local Sponsor Certification Apps Open Next Week

The next certification round for the Local Agricultural Easement Purchase Program (LAEPP) 2019 is scheduled for August 21 through October 12, 2018.
Entities interested in applying for certification as a Local Sponsor can find more information on our website on the Local Sponsor page under the "Current Local Sponsor Certification Application" tab.
Cities, counties, townships, soil and water conservation districts and non-profit organizations such as land trusts are eligible to become certified Local Sponsors.
Local Sponsors who complete and submit the Local Sponsor Certification application and qualify will be allocated a portion of the LAEPP 2019 funds. These funds are used to purchase agricultural easements on Ohio farms.
