USDA's Hazlett to Discuss Opioid Epidemic Today in Columbus

Ohio Farm Bureau will host USDA Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development Anne Hazlett and other key partners for a roundtable discussion on the impacts of the opioid epidemic on rural communities. Topics will include challenges associated with substance use disorder; strategies for prevention, treatment and recovery; and how these measures can be replicated to effectively address the epidemic in other rural communities.

The opioid epidemic roundtable discussion will be held Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation Conference Room, 280 N. High St., Columbus, 11th Floor.
