Mark your calendars for the 11th OCA Replacement Female Sale, happening at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 24, at Muskingum Livestock in Zanesville. This esteemed event boasts a catalogue of 101 lots featuring a diverse array of prime cattle, including cow-calf pairs, bred cows, and bred heifers. The online consignment details, encompassing videos of the offerings, are available on the Ohio Cattlemen's Association website.
These female cattle, all below five years of age as of January 1, 2024, are either registered or possess a commercial background. Moreover, they come with a solid lineage—bred females are carrying calves sired by bulls with known EPD’s, certified by an accredited veterinarian for pregnancy status, and have met rigorous health standards.
Breeds on offer span a variety including Angus, Red Angus, Hereford, Crossbred, Limousin, LimFlex, and Simmental, ensuring a wide selection catering to different breeding programs and preferences.
