County Volunteer Ag Literacy Training Certification Opens for Registration

County Volunteer Ag Literacy Training Certification Opens for Registration

By Andi Anderson

The County Volunteer Ag Literacy Training Certification program is set for February 17, 2025, offering volunteers an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in agricultural education. This training is designed for those who actively support their local Farm Bureau’s ag literacy initiatives or are interested in getting involved.

The program aims to equip volunteers with effective strategies for promoting agricultural literacy, helping them engage communities and schools in understanding modern farming practices. Participants will learn techniques to communicate important agricultural topics, organize educational activities, and inspire the next generation to appreciate agriculture’s role in daily life.

This training is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture and education. Whether you have years of experience in ag literacy efforts or are new to the field, the program provides valuable resources and networking opportunities with fellow volunteers.

Space for the training is limited, and early registration is encouraged. The deadline to register is February 2, 2025. Interested individuals can sign up and learn more by visiting ofb.ag/ag literacy training.

By completing this certification, volunteers will gain confidence in leading educational initiatives and contributing to a more informed public about agriculture’s importance. Don’t miss this chance to make a difference in your community while expanding your ag literacy expertise.
