Don't miss the awesome Land & Living exhibit at this year's Ohio State Fair from July 26 to Aug. 6! It's a fantastic opportunity for families to have a blast while learning all about farming, food, and high-tech agriculture.
Inside the Nationwide Donahey Agriculture & Horticulture building, you'll get to see how farmers take care of animals on the farm. Plus, you'll be amazed by the cool science and technology used to produce safe and yummy food while protecting the environment. Learn about the smart solutions researchers are discovering for the biggest farming challenges and find out how you can have a cool career in agriculture.
Make sure to stop by the sow birthing center, brought to you by the Ohio Pork Council. Here, you can meet adorable baby piglets and find out more about how animals are cared for on the farm.
But that's not all! You can also try your hand at planting crops in a tractor simulator, explore the use of drones in agriculture, shop in an interactive grocery store, and even snap a free photo to remember your state fair adventure.
The Land & Living exhibit is a joint effort of Ohio Farm Bureau, Nationwide, Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, and other awesome organizations like Ohio Corn & Wheat and Ohio Soybean Council. Everyone's working together to show you how important agriculture is in our lives.
