The Ohio State Fair is back, running from July 24 through August 4, 2024, and promises a range of new attractions and experiences for visitors. This year’s fair will not only feature traditional favorites like the butter cow and calf, Natural Resources Park, livestock shows, and arts exhibits, but also introduce several exciting new additions.
According to a press release from the fair, “In addition to fairgoer favorites, there are many new and exciting things at the 2024 Ohio State Fair.”
Here’s a list of new experiences for 2024:
Career Pathways Program
An interactive program designed to help attendees explore various career options and pathways.
Expo 2050 Project Showcase
A showcase of innovative projects and futuristic concepts, highlighting advancements and future trends.
Ohio State Fair History Exhibit in Kasich Hall
An exhibit dedicated to the rich history of the Ohio State Fair, providing a nostalgic look at past fairs.
Mural Competition
A live competition where artists create stunning murals, adding vibrant art to the fairgrounds.
Nerveless Nocks Thrill Show
A thrilling performance featuring daring stunts and acrobatics to entertain audiences of all ages.
New Food Avenue
A new area dedicated to diverse and delicious food options, offering fairgoers a variety of culinary delights.
Poster Contest
An artistic competition inviting participants to create posters that capture the spirit of the fair.
Run Like a Girl 5k and 10K presented by Avina Women’s Care
A running event encouraging fitness and empowerment, open to participants of all ages.
