The 2026 Ohio State Fair is giving visitors several opportunities to enjoy a memorable experience while staying within budget. Through discounted admission tickets, ride promotions, special savings days, and free attractions, families can make the most of their visit without spending extra money.
Visitors who purchase admission tickets in advance can take advantage of reduced pricing before the fair begins. Multi-day ticket options are also available for guests planning to visit more than once. In addition, advance ride-all-day wristbands offer savings compared to purchasing them at the fairgrounds.
A special promotion is also available for the new Ohio Children’s Carousel. Guests who use the promo code CAROUSEL when purchasing a single-day admission ticket can receive a free ride on the attraction, adding extra value to their fair experience.
One of the biggest highlights of the Ohio State Fair is the large number of activities included with admission. Visitors can explore the famous Butter Cow, view youth arts exhibits, and visit the new imAGine Agriculture exhibit. Guests can also meet baby animals at the Ohio Agriculture Center presented by Nationwide.
Natural Resources Park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including kayaking, fishing, archery, and visits to the Butterfly House. Families can also enjoy the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show and learn more about conservation and wildlife.
Entertainment options are available throughout the fairgrounds. Visitors can enjoy free live music performances, family-friendly stage shows, hypnotists, and presentations by the All-Ohio State Fair Band and Youth Choir. Other popular attractions include Pig Races, the Petting Zoo, and live glassblowing demonstrations.
Several special discount days provide additional savings for fairgoers. Opening Day features reduced-price rides at participating attractions. Two Thursdays during the fair include special food promotions, allowing visitors to purchase select smaller menu items for just $3.
Additional savings are available during NBC4 Family Discount Day, Senior Day, College Student Day, and Telhio and Ronald McDonald House Charities Day. Veterans, active military members, first responders, and children five years old and younger are eligible for free admission during the event with appropriate identification.
Visitors can further reduce costs by bringing a lunch, snacks, or nonalcoholic beverages. Refillable water bottles can be used at complimentary water stations located throughout the fairgrounds. Guests can also avoid parking fees by using the free Park-and-Ride service and air-conditioned shuttle transportation.
With discounted tickets, exciting attractions, educational exhibits, and family-friendly entertainment, the 2026 Ohio State Fair offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy a full day of activities while making the most of their budget.
