The 2027 Spring Soil Health Webinar Series is set to provide valuable educational opportunities for farmers, agricultural professionals, researchers, and students interested in improving soil health and sustainable farming practices. The series will feature four virtual sessions designed to share the latest knowledge, innovations, and practical strategies that can help strengthen agricultural productivity and environmental stewardship.
Soil health continues to play a critical role in modern agriculture. Healthy soils support crop growth, improve water retention, increase nutrient availability, and contribute to long-term farm sustainability. As agricultural challenges continue to evolve, producers are seeking new approaches to maintain productive and resilient farming systems.
The upcoming webinar series will focus on several important topics, including crop diversification, biological products, urban soil health, and emerging technologies. These subjects are becoming increasingly important as farmers and industry professionals look for effective ways to improve soil performance while supporting environmental goals.
The webinar schedule includes four one-hour online sessions that will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on the following dates:
- January 14, 2027 – Farmers’ panel discussion
- February 11, 2027
- March 18, 2027
- April 8, 2027
The opening session will feature a farmers’ panel discussion, providing participants with an opportunity to hear real-world experiences and practical insights directly from producers. Additional webinars will cover current research, best management practices, and innovative tools that can support soil health improvement across various agricultural systems.
Organizers have announced that detailed information regarding speakers and specific presentation topics will be released in December 2026. These updates will help participants choose sessions that best match their interests and professional needs.
A key feature of this year's program is the availability of a Certificate of Attendance, which can be provided upon request. Participants will also be eligible for Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credit, making the series valuable for continuing education and professional development.
The webinar series is designed to make learning accessible and convenient through an online format. Participants can join from any location and gain insights from experts without the need for travel.
Those seeking additional information about the program can contact Manbir Rakkar or Asmita Murumkar for assistance.
By covering a wide range of timely soil health topics, the 2027 Spring Soil Health Webinar Series aims to support informed decision-making, encourage sustainable farming practices, and help agricultural professionals stay up to date with the latest developments in soil management and crop production.
