Agri Law Summit 2026 Brings Legal Experts Together

Agri Law Summit 2026 Brings Legal Experts Together

By Andi Anderson

Agri Law Summit 2026 is a professional conference dedicated to addressing the legal needs of agriculture and farm-related businesses.

Hosted by the OSU Agricultural and Resource Law Program in partnership with the Ohio State Bar Association Agricultural Law Committee, the event brings together attorneys and legal professionals for a full day of education and discussion.

Agriculture is a vital part of Ohio’s history and economy, supporting jobs, communities, and food production. Because agricultural businesses operate differently than many other industries, they face unique legal concerns.

These include land use, environmental rules, contracts, business planning, and compliance with state and federal laws. The Agri Law Summit is designed to help legal professionals better understand and address these challenges.

The conference focuses on practical legal skills that attorneys can apply directly in their work with agricultural clients. Sessions explore current and pending legislation, recent court cases, and emerging legal issues that could affect farms and agribusinesses.

By reviewing real-world examples, participants gain insight into how laws impact agriculture today and how they may change in the future.

In addition to education, the summit encourages professional networking and collaboration. Attorneys from different areas of law can exchange ideas, share experiences, and build connections with others who work in agricultural law. This collaborative environment strengthens legal support for farmers and rural communities.

The event is held at a convenient venue near Marysville, Ohio, offering a professional and welcoming setting for learning. The one-day format allows attendees to gain valuable knowledge without an extended time commitment.

The day-long event will be on May 21, 2026, at Retreat 21 Venue & Tap House near Marysville, Ohio.
