Fairfield County Farm Bureau Sets 2025 Annual Meeting Date

By Andi Anderson

The 2025 Fairfield County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 6, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Fairfield County Agriculture Service Center, located at 831 College Ave., Lancaster, Ohio.

This annual event provides an opportunity for members to connect, discuss agricultural issues, and stay informed. The evening will begin with registration at 6:00 p.m., followed by a delicious catered dinner at 6:30 p.m. provided by Da Que BBQ.

After dinner, the business portion of the meeting will take place. Members will hear important updates and participate in discussions relevant to agriculture and local policies.

A special highlight of the evening will be a presentation by Leah Curtis, Associate General Counsel for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. She will speak about Current Agricultural Use Valuation (CAUV) reappraisals—a topic of importance to many landowners and farmers enrolled in the program.

Attendees will gain insight into how CAUV values are determined and what to expect during reappraisal periods. Anyone currently enrolled or considering enrollment in CAUV is encouraged to attend.

The cost of dinner is $15 per person. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Fairfield County Farm Bureau office at 740-474-6284. Checks may also be mailed to:
