Huron County Farm Bureau Supports Members Attending 2026 Leadership Event

Huron County Farm Bureau Supports Members Attending 2026 Leadership Event

By Andi Anderson

The Huron County Farm Bureau is encouraging young agricultural professionals to take part in an important learning opportunity by offering sponsorships for the 2026 Winter Leadership Experience.

The event, themed “Harvesting New Horizons,” will take place on January 23 and 24, 2026, at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark. The program brings together future agricultural leaders from across the region to build skills, strengthen networks, and explore new opportunities in the agriculture sector.

Registration for this statewide leadership event is $175 per person, and the registration window remains open until January 6. Attendees must arrange their own hotel accommodations.

The Winter Leadership Experience is designed to support the professional development of young people involved in agriculture by offering workshops, leadership sessions, and networking activities that promote personal and career growth.

To qualify for sponsorship, participants must attend the event. Once attendance is verified, the Huron County Farm Bureau will reimburse members for their registration cost. This financial support helps reduce the expense of participation and encourages more members to take advantage of this valuable educational experience.

The county Farm Bureau has budgeted a maximum of $750 for sponsorships, making early registration essential.

Sponsorships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning interested members should act quickly to secure their support. After completing the online registration, participants must notify the Huron County Farm Bureau to confirm the availability of funding. Members can contact the county office by emailing huron@ofbf.org or calling 440-877-0706 to finalize sponsorship approval.

By offering this funding, the Huron County Farm Bureau demonstrates its commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders. The sponsorship not only encourages member participation but also strengthens community involvement in training programs that prepare young professionals for future leadership roles in agriculture.
