Young agricultural professionals in Ohio are invited to attend the 2025 Winter Leadership Experience, "A Conference for Generations," on February 7 and 8 at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky.
The event promises a combination of fun, great food, engaging breakout sessions, workshops, and inspiring keynote speakers. There will also be a Future Young Ag Professionals (YAP) Club for children from kindergarten to 6th grade.
Registration for the event is $150 per person and must be completed online by January 21. Along with the registration, participants must submit payment and provide full contact information.
Hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee, though there are discounted rooms available at Kalahari Resorts for $204 per night, which include four free waterpark passes. These rooms are available until January 7 or while supplies last.
In an effort to support young agricultural professionals, Lake County Farm Bureau is offering limited scholarships to county members. These scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are designed to assist young ag professionals aged 18-35 who want to attend the Winter Leadership Experience.
Interested participants can register online and then notify the county office by calling 440-426-2195 or emailing lake@ofbf.org to confirm their attendance. Once attendees participate in the event, they will receive reimbursement for the registration fee.
This is a great opportunity for young ag professionals to connect, learn, and grow in their careers, all while benefiting from a strong sense of community. If you are an eligible member, make sure to register and apply for the scholarship soon!
