NW Ohio Premier Farmer Event Set for August 15

By Andi Anderson

Farmers from across Northwest Ohio are invited to the Premier Farmer Showcase on August 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) in Toledo.

This one-day event offers insights into modern farm promotion and building consumer connections.

The event will feature a tour of CIFT’s innovative facilities and highlight tools for promoting agriculture in today’s digital world. The spotlight speaker will be Zoe Kent, widely recognized on social media as Farm with Zoe.

As a grain farmer and ag communicator, Kent has earned a large following by sharing her farming journey online and connecting directly with consumers.

Her featured presentation will cover:

  • How to tell your farm’s story authentically
  • Building trust with consumers through social media
  • Communicating openly about what you grow and why it matters

Kent’s insights are especially helpful for farmers looking to build a stronger public image and enhance transparency with customers. With social media now a vital tool in agriculture, this event offers the chance to learn from one of the most relatable voices in the field.

This showcase is ideal for farmers, ag professionals, and students who want to elevate their communication skills and better connect with their communities.

Attendees will walk away with practical tips to engage consumers, promote their products, and tell the real story of today’s agriculture.

Don't miss this opportunity to join a dynamic discussion on the future of farm communication and promotion in Northwest Ohio.
