Registration is now open for the 9th Annual ODPA Golf Outing, returning to the Pines Golf Club in Orrville, Ohio. The popular event will take place on Friday, June 26, and is expected to bring together members of the agricultural community for a full day of golf, networking, and fundraising.
The ODPA Golf Outing is designed to support ODPA’s advocacy initiatives and the ODP PAC, while also offering participants a relaxed environment to connect with colleagues and peers. The event welcomes golfers of all experience levels, making it an inclusive and enjoyable opportunity for everyone involved.
The day will begin at 8:00 a.m. with registration, followed by a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will compete for prizes awarded to the top three teams. Additional contests include Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, adding excitement and friendly competition throughout the day.
Registration includes green fees, a golf cart, breakfast, lunch, and two beer tickets per participant. The cost is $100 per individual or $375 for a foursome, offering a savings of $25 for participants who register as a team. This pricing makes the outing an accessible and valuable experience while supporting a meaningful cause.
Organizers say last year’s outing was highly successful and well attended, and expectations are even higher for this year’s event. The combination of quality golf, great food, and strong networking opportunities has made the ODPA Golf Outing a highlight on the agricultural community calendar.
Beyond the golf course, the event plays an important role in strengthening advocacy efforts. Funds raised help advance policies and initiatives that support agriculture and rural communities. Participants can feel confident that their involvement contributes directly to these efforts.
Whether attending for the competition, the social atmosphere, or the chance to support agricultural advocacy, participants are encouraged to register early. The ODPA Golf Outing continues to be a valuable tradition that blends recreation with purpose, making it a must-attend event for the Ohio agricultural community this summer.
