Ohio Corn & Wheat Announces New Leadership for 2025

Ohio Corn & Wheat (OCW) has announced its newly elected leadership for 2025, with board members set to lead key programs promoting agriculture, farmer support, and international trade. These leaders will guide the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association, Ohio Corn Marketing Program, and Ohio Small Grains Marketing Program.

Tadd Nicholson, Executive Director of Ohio Corn & Wheat, emphasized the significance of these appointments. “Our board members play a vital role in our organization’s success. These leaders bring valuable experience and dedication to Ohio’s agricultural community. I look forward to working with them this year.”

For the Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association, Tyler Drewes of Wood County has been elected President, with Eric Tipton of Fayette County as Vice President. Scott Ruck of Wayne County will serve as Secretary/Treasurer, while Dennis Vennekotter of Putnam County takes on the role of Chairman.

The Ohio Corn Marketing Program has named Patty Mann of Shelby County as Chair, with Scott Haerr of Clark County as Vice Chair. Craig Downing of Putnam County will serve as Secretary/Treasurer, while Anthony Bush of Morrow County is the Past Chair.

Leading the Ohio Small Grains Marketing Program, Owen Niese of Richland County will serve as Chair, Bill Schroeder of Putnam County as Vice Chair, and Derek Hetrick of Sandusky County as Secretary/Treasurer. Stephanie Bowsher of Allen County will continue as Past Chair.

These leaders will work to strengthen Ohio’s grain industry, support farmers, and advance agricultural initiatives.
