Ohio Farmers Gain Insights at Winter Breakfast

Ohio Farmers Gain Insights at Winter Breakfast

By Andi Anderson

The 2026 Winter Breakfast Series is now open for registration and offers valuable learning opportunities for the central Ohio agricultural community.

The program is designed to provide timely and practical education for farmers, agribusiness professionals, landowners, and Farm Bureau members through focused morning meetings.

Each session includes breakfast followed by expert-led presentations that address current trends, tools, and policies affecting agriculture. The goal of the series is to help participants better understand issues that influence farm operations, business planning, and long-term decision-making.

These meetings also encourage discussion and networking among local agricultural leaders.

The breakfast series will be held at a central location in Plain City, Ohio. Doors open at 8:15 a.m., with breakfast served at 8:30 a.m. Educational programs typically run from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., except for one extended session later in the season.

A registration fee applies for each meeting, and current Farm Bureau members are eligible for reimbursement by submitting their membership identification number during registration.

The January session will focus on artificial intelligence and autonomous equipment. This presentation will explain how emerging technologies are being used in agriculture today and how they may shape future farm operations and agricultural organizations.

The February meeting will provide an outlook on important economic and market topics. Presenters will discuss grain markets, land values, crop input costs, profit margins, tax policies, and international economic conditions.

This session aims to give participants a clear picture of the factors influencing farm profitability.

The March program will be a longer, two-hour session designed to meet a Farm Bureau workers’ compensation requirement. Speaker details will be announced closer to the event date.

Registration is completed online by selecting desired dates, submitting contact details, and completing payment. Participants will receive confirmation by email. Questions about registration or attendance support can be directed to the event organizers.

Overall, the 2026 Winter Breakfast Series provides an accessible and informative way for Ohio agricultural professionals to stay informed, connect with peers, and prepare for the year ahead.
