The Ohio State Fair proudly invites longtime attendees to the special 50-Year Club Celebration on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the FFA Center, located just north of 17th Avenue at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
This event brings together those who first attended the fair 50 or more years ago, celebrating shared history and cherished memories. Whether you once showed livestock, joined youth programs, performed in bands, or simply enjoyed the rides and treats, your presence helped shape this fair into what it is today.
The 50-Year Club Celebration is free to attend, with no membership dues. The day begins with registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by the official program at 10:00 a.m. Attendees will enjoy an uplifting presentation from Pearl Valley Farm Cheese, a name known for quality and flavor across the state.
A highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the “Giant Step” award to the beloved Ohio State Fair Butter Cow—a longtime icon of Ohio's agricultural pride and tradition.
Adding to the joy, July 29 is Senior Citizens Day at the fair. This means free admission for anyone aged 60 and older, making it the perfect opportunity to reconnect with fellow fairgoers and relive your fondest memories. Parking is available for $10 in the North Parking Lot.
Join us for a celebration filled with laughter, memories, and the spirit of community. For more details, contact Barb Prince at 614-644-4052 or email B.Prince@expo.ohio.gov.
