The Ohio State Fair continues to provide visitors with a wide range of agricultural activities, educational exhibits, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions. The event highlights Ohio’s agricultural heritage while offering exciting experiences for fairgoers of all ages.
One of the featured activities is Telhio and Ronald McDonald House Charities Day. Visitors can support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio by donating selected household and food items. Participants who bring eligible donations, including canned foods, paper towels, disinfectant products, and resealable storage bags, can receive a voucher for a buy-one-get-one-free admission ticket before 6 p.m.
Agriculture remains a major focus of the fair, with numerous livestock competitions scheduled throughout the day. Visitors can watch a variety of events featuring cattle, swine, goats, poultry, rabbits, and horses. Key competitions include the Governor’s Cup 6 Horse Hitch, Junior Fair Boer Goat Showmanship, Dairy Cattle Open Jersey Show, Junior Crossbred Barrows competition, Barrow Final Drive, Poultry Showmanship and Breeding Poultry Show, Rabbit Showmanship, and Beef Market Showmanship contests. These events allow young exhibitors and livestock producers to showcase their skills, dedication, and animal care practices.
The fair also features a variety of free entertainment across the fairgrounds. Guests can enjoy performances by Comedy Juggler Groovy Guy, live music by Kazual, and Hilarious Hypnotist Ron Diamond. Additional attractions include comedy stunts, circus acts, yo-yo demonstrations, and musical performances that appeal to visitors of all ages.
At the Machinery Social Hall, visitors can listen to live music by the Will Freed Band, while the Town Square Amphitheater Stage hosts popular shows such as the Comedy Farm Magic Review and BOOM! Percussion Hype Group.
Nature and outdoor enthusiasts can visit the Natural Resources Park for educational and entertaining programs. Featured attractions include Birds of Prey demonstrations, the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, performances by the Artisan Tap Ensemble, and bluegrass music by the Open Highway Bluegrass Band.
Music fans can also attend the Ohio State Fair Concert Series featuring Bailey Zimmerman with special guest Chandler Walters. The evening performance provides another major attraction for visitors attending the fair.
Running from July 29 through Aug. 9, the 2026 Ohio State Fair continues to offer a unique blend of agriculture, education, entertainment, and community engagement. Hosted by the Ohio Expo Center, the fair remains one of the largest agricultural and family events in the nation, featuring exhibits, competitions, concerts, and interactive experiences for everyone to enjoy.
