The 2023 Farmers Market schedule has been announced in Ohio, offering a variety of locally grown and produced goods. The Farmer's Market is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike, providing access to fresh produce, artisanal foods, and handmade crafts.
The Market will open its 45th season on June 3rd in Bellaire, Ohio. The market will also operate in the Boscov's parking lot at the Ohio Valley Mall but will move from Thursdays to Tuesdays with extended hours from 3-6pm.
The Market will feature the return of the Ultimate Farm Breakfast on May 6th at West Virginia Northern Community College. The breakfast will feature locally sourced foods prepared by the WVNCC Culinary Arts Program. The proceeds will help defray operating costs for the Market.
The Market is accepting applications for new vendors including produce growers, artisans, and those with other agricultural goods or home-produced foods. A meeting for all interested and returning vendors will be held on Monday, and attendance is encouraged.
Additionally, children will be welcome to sign up as sous chefs and assist Chef Katie at the Tasting Tent each week. For more information about the Market or to reserve seats for breakfast, please call 740-676-8187.
