The Pike County Farm Bureau will host a membership drive on Saturday, February 28, 2026, giving community members a chance to renew their memberships or join the organization while receiving a special local reward.
The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will be held at two convenient locations within the county.
This membership drive is designed to encourage continued support for agriculture and rural communities. Individuals who renew their Farm Bureau membership or become new members during the event will receive a $20 gift card for the business they visit.
The gift cards are provided as a thank you from the Pike County Farm Bureau to show appreciation for member involvement and local support.
Two local businesses will host the membership drive. Williams Hardware, located at 617 South West Street in Piketon, will welcome participants from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Klinker’s Lumber, located at 100 West 7th Street in Waverly, will also host the event during the same hours. Members may choose the location that is most convenient for them.
Farm Bureau membership supports education programs, agricultural advocacy, and community development initiatives that benefit farmers, families, and rural areas.
By joining or renewing, members help strengthen the agricultural voice at local, state, and national levels. Membership also provides access to information, resources, and opportunities that support agriculture and rural life.
The Pike County Farm Bureau encourages residents, farmers, and community members to attend the event and take advantage of the membership benefits and incentives being offered.
The drive is open to both current members and those interested in learning more about the Farm Bureau and its work.
Anyone with questions about the membership drive or Farm Bureau membership is encouraged to contact the Pike County Farm Bureau office directly at 740-286-4598. Community members are invited to stop by, participate and show their support for agriculture on February 28.
