Shehy Named Director of State Policy for Ohio Farm Bureau



Stephan Shehy has been named director of state policy for Ohio Farm Bureau. He will represent the interests of Farm Bureau members with the Ohio General Assembly and throughout state government.

Prior to joining the policy team at Farm Bureau, Shehy worked at University of Cincinnati Health where he was manager of advocacy and health policy. Before UC, Shehy was a majority policy advisor for the Ohio House of Representatives, working for several members of the Ohio House and also serving as a congressional staffer for Congressman Bob Gibbs.

He earned his bachelor's degree in economics and political science at Capital University and his master's degree in professional studies with a focus on legislative affairs at George Washington University. Shehy spent summers baling hay in Wayne County, where he grew up, and has family who farm in Clermont County.
