Unlock Winter Leadership 2025 Scholarships

By Andi Anderson

Farm Bureau members are invited to attend the Winter Leadership Experience, themed “Embracing Your Season,” on February 7-8, 2025, at Kalahari in Sandusky. This annual event provides a platform for members of all ages to connect, learn, and grow together through leadership development and networking.

Marion County Farm Bureau offers a scholarship opportunity, reimbursing up to $150 of the full registration fee for the first four attendees who contact the county office prior to the event.

Interested members can register online for $150 per person through January 7, and they must notify the office via email at marion@ofbf.org or call 419-747-7488 to qualify for the reimbursement. After attending, eligible participants will receive their refund.

Participants are responsible for booking their own accommodations. A link to discounted hotel rooms is available on the registration page, but members are encouraged to book early, as special rates are available only until January 7.

This year’s Winter Leadership Experience aims to bring together Farm Bureau members from diverse backgrounds, with sessions open to all ages.

Attendees can expect a variety of activities, including breakout sessions, workshops, tours, and keynote speeches. The event also includes a Future YAP Club for children in kindergarten through sixth grade, ensuring a family-friendly environment.

The Winter Leadership Experience offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills, enjoy great food, and create connections that will benefit your personal and professional growth in the agricultural community.
