Volunteer Now for Ohio’s Premier Wine and Food Festival 2025

Volunteer Now for Ohio’s Premier Wine and Food Festival 2025

By Andi Anderson

Ohio’s premier wine and food festival, celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025, is calling on volunteers to help make this milestone event a success.

Set to be a vibrant celebration of food, wine, and community, the festival depends on the support of hundreds of volunteers each year.

Since the festival began, nearly 10,000 individuals have volunteered in exchange for tickets, t-shirts, and the chance to raise funds for local charities and causes.

From helping schools afford uniforms and trips to supporting church groups, PTAs, and sports clubs, this event offers a unique opportunity to give back.

Volunteers are asked to commit to a 4.5-hour shift. In return, they receive a festival ticket and an exclusive festival T-shirt. Those who sign up for the final Saturday evening shift will also receive an extra thank-you gift— a certificate for a participating winery, provided by the OWPA team.

Individuals can sign up for a shift via SignUpGenius at Sign-Up Link or by calling the festival office at 440-466-4417 during business hours.

Groups looking to raise funds for causes close to their hearts—such as school PTOs, church groups, service clubs, or sports teams—are encouraged to volunteer together.

Student groups are welcome, with adult supervision required (one adult per 6–8 students). Adult groups may also assist with wine pouring and are often rewarded with a bottle to take home.

All volunteers will receive a festival T-shirt and can expect a donation to be made to their charity for each session completed. This is a great opportunity to have fun, support your community, and be part of one of Ohio’s most cherished traditions.
