2026 Trumbull County Farm Bureau Scholarships Open

By Andi Anderson

The Trumbull County Farm Bureau is offering two scholarship opportunities for 2026 to support students who are pursuing higher education in agriculture and related fields.

These scholarships aim to encourage learning, reduce financial barriers, and strengthen the future agricultural workforce in the county.

The first opportunity is the Trumbull County Farm Bureau Scholarship. This program is open to students who have been admitted to a two year or four year institution of higher learning.

Applicants or their parent step parent or legal guardian must be current members of the Trumbull County Farm Bureau at the time of application and at payout. Students must be enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree program at a college university or technical school.

Applicants may reapply for this scholarship each year but are limited to receiving it no more than two times. Scholarship recipients or a representative are required to attend the county Farm Bureau annual meeting held in the fall.

The scholarship amount depends on the number of qualified applications received. All applications must be submitted online and handwritten forms will not be accepted. The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM on March 15, 2026.

The second opportunity is the John Wallace and James Wallace Douglas Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to help remove financial barriers that may prevent individuals from pursuing education or training in agriculture food science or related fields. It supports students who are preparing for careers within the agricultural workforce.

Applicants must be residents of Trumbull County Ohio and must be Farm Bureau members or have a parent or guardian who is a member. Eligible students must be juniors or seniors enrolled in a post secondary college or university in the United States.

They must be seeking a degree in agriculture food science or a related field and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0. The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2026.

Both scholarship programs reflect the Trumbull County Farm Bureau commitment to education leadership and community growth. Students are encouraged to review eligibility requirements carefully and apply by the stated deadlines.

These opportunities help support academic goals while strengthening the future of agriculture in Trumbull County.
