Ohio Farm Bureau has selected an agriculture professional from northwest Ohio to participate in its 2025–2026 AgriPOWER Institute, a leadership development program designed for farmers and agribusiness professionals.
The program brings together a small group of participants who are interested in strengthening their leadership skills and becoming stronger advocates for agriculture.
The AgriPOWER Institute focuses on key topics that affect the farm and food industry. Participants study consumer relations, agricultural regulations, energy issues, and trade policies.
The goal is to help individuals better understand how these areas influence agriculture at the local, state, and national levels. Through expert instruction and hands-on learning, participants gain knowledge and confidence to represent the industry effectively.
The selected participant works in human resources for an agricultural equipment company, supporting hiring, employee relations, benefits, and compliance across multiple locations.
In this role, she helps promote professional development, transparency, and workforce growth while supporting the company’s values and long-term success.
In addition to her professional career, she is actively involved in agricultural leadership and community service. She serves in a leadership role with her local county Farm Bureau and supports youth development through agricultural programs such as 4-H and FFA.
Her long history of volunteer service reflects a strong commitment to education, agriculture, and community involvement.
The AgriPOWER program includes travel and learning experiences outside of Ohio. One session will take place in Washington, D.C., where participants will learn more about national and global agricultural policy issues.
Another session in California will allow participants to explore how agriculture differs in other regions while identifying common challenges faced by producers nationwide.
Ohio Farm Bureau leaders emphasize that AgriPOWER is designed to build on the experience participants already have. The program provides tools, knowledge, and connections that help individuals grow as leaders and advocates for agriculture.
The AgriPOWER Institute is supported by several agricultural organizations and partners that are committed to developing future leaders. Through this program, Ohio Farm Bureau continues to invest in people who help strengthen agriculture and represent the industry with knowledge and confidence.
