Agricultural outreach programs continue to play an important role in connecting farmers with their communities. One successful outreach effort this summer was a community Storytime with a Farmer event. The program welcomed children and parents for an engaging learning experience focused on agriculture.
During the event, participants listened to a story about dairy farming and learned about the hard work involved in producing milk and other dairy products.
The program also provided an opportunity for children to ask farmers questions about farming practices and animal care. Interactive activities, including themed crafts, helped make learning enjoyable and memorable.
