Director Brian Baldridge embarked on a transformative journey, leading the Ohio Department of Agriculture for a year filled with impactful moments. Appointed as the 40th Director by Governor Mike DeWine, Baldridge immediately demonstrated his commitment during his first week, offering support to farmers in Columbiana County after a train derailment in East Palestine.
Throughout the year, Baldridge crisscrossed the state, visiting every corner, attending over 20 county and independent fairs, and touring numerous farming operations. His genuine connection with hardworking individuals in Ohio's agriculture industry has been the driving force behind his efforts.
As an Adams County farmer himself, Baldridge brings firsthand experience to the table. His passion for public service and agriculture resonates in every interaction. From the buzzing atmosphere of county fairs to the serene landscapes of rural farms, Director Baldridge listened to the pulse of Ohio's agriculture.
