The Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau is offering an important opportunity for young agricultural professionals by sponsoring a limited number of members who want to attend the 2026 Winter Leadership Experience, themed Harvesting New Horizons.
The event will take place on January 23 and 24, 2026, at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark. This annual program is designed to help young leaders build skills, connect with others, and gain new perspectives on the future of agriculture.
Registration for the Winter Leadership Experience is $175 per person and will remain open until January 6, 2026. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own hotel accommodations.
The sponsorship offered by the Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau will reimburse the registration fee, but only after the member attends the event. This ensures that the financial support is provided to individuals who participate fully in the experience.
Because sponsorships are limited, they will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Members who register early will have a better chance of receiving financial support. Those who plan to attend must complete their online registration and then notify the Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau to confirm sponsorship availability.
To verify sponsorship, members should contact the Farm Bureau by emailing cuyahoga@ofbf.org or calling 440-877-0706. This step is important to secure approval before the event. Once participation is confirmed and the event is attended, the Farm Bureau will reimburse the member for the registration cost.
The Winter Leadership Experience provides valuable learning and networking opportunities for young professionals in agriculture. Programs typically include keynote sessions, discussions about leadership development, agricultural trends, communication skills, and opportunities for community involvement.
By offering sponsorship, the Cuyahoga County Farm Bureau is helping support the next generation of agricultural leaders while encouraging active member involvement.
This sponsorship program reflects the Farm Bureau’s commitment to building strong agricultural communities and ensuring that young professionals have access to meaningful leadership training.
