The Lorain County Farm Bureau is encouraging young agricultural professionals to take part in the 2026 Winter Leadership Experience, themed Harvesting New Horizons, by offering sponsorship to a limited number of local members.
The event is scheduled for January 23 and 24, 2026, at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark. This annual experience provides valuable opportunities for young leaders to gain knowledge, build confidence, and meet others who share a passion for agriculture.
Registration for the event is $175 per person and will remain open until January 6, 2026. Each attendee is responsible for arranging their own hotel accommodations.
The Farm Bureau will reimburse the registration fee after the member attends the event, ensuring support goes to participants who engage fully in the leadership program.
Because sponsorship availability is limited, it will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Members who are interested are encouraged to register early to secure their chance for financial assistance. After registering online, attendees must contact the Lorain County Farm Bureau to verify sponsorship and confirm availability.
To complete this step, members should reach out by emailing lorain@ofbf.org or calling 440-877-0706. Once participation is confirmed and the event is attended, the Farm Bureau will reimburse the registration cost as part of its support for developing young leaders.
The Winter Leadership Experience includes workshops, discussions, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities focused on communication skills, agricultural trends, personal development, and leadership training.
By sponsoring members, the Lorain County Farm Bureau is helping build strong, confident leaders who can contribute to the future of agriculture in their communities.
This sponsorship program reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to supporting young professionals, promoting education, and strengthening local agricultural involvement. By participating, members can expand their skills and take an active role in shaping the future of the agricultural industry.
