The 169th Ohio State Fair is just one week away, opening its gates from July 24 to August 4, 2024. This year’s fair promises a range of exciting new attractions, shows, and exhibits for all ages.

The Nerveless Nocks Thrill Show, located at the south end of the Mountain Dew Midway, will captivate audiences with daredevil stunts performed 80 feet above the ground. Known from America's Got Talent Extreme and AGT Season 17, this show is a must-see.

The Sheepdog Spectacular in the Dog House adds to the entertainment with an interactive sheepdog show, while the Marvelous Mutts show features performing rescue dogs. Both shows highlight the fair’s commitment to agricultural education and entertainment.

In Kiddieland, the Wheels of Agriculture Game Show offers a fast-paced, TV-style game show filled with comedy, shenanigans, and prizes, ensuring fun and learning for all ages.

New food options are always a highlight at the fair. This year, New Food Avenue will showcase innovative treats like pickle lemonade, Cleveland corned beef egg rolls, deep-fried buffalo chicken bombs, and pickle pizza. A full list of new foods is available on the fair’s website.

The Taste of Ohio Pavilion & Beer Garden, previously the Taste of Ohio Café, will feature local Ohio brews and wine, delicious cuisine, live music, and horticultural exhibits, creating a vibrant evening atmosphere.

Art enthusiasts can enjoy the Mural Competition, where artists will paint murals live from July 26-28, and the new Tiny Art Show, showcasing small, affordable artworks in the Cox Fine Arts Center.

The Career Pathways Program in the Lausche Youth Exploration Space will inspire visitors with life-size cutouts of professionals from various fields, offering insights into diverse career paths.

The Ohio State Fair History Exhibit in Kasich Hall C will provide a fascinating glimpse into the fair’s rich history, featuring historic photos and scale models.

Runners can participate in the Run Like a Girl 5K and 10K on August 4, starting at the Historic Crew Stadium and racing through the fairgrounds.

Despite ongoing construction at the Ohio Expo Center, fairgoers can enjoy all their favorite attractions. Discounted advance-sale tickets are available for $8 through July 23, redeemable for a single admission any day of the fair. Tickets can also be purchased at participating O'Reilly Auto Parts locations.
