Finish survey to score tickets and swag

The 2024 Ohio State Fair concluded successfully on Sunday, August 4, after 12 days of exciting events and activities.

As we wrap up this year’s fair, we invite you to share your experience by completing our survey for a chance to win tickets to the 2025 Ohio State Fair and an exclusive swag bag.

The Ohio State Fair continues to honor tradition, provide top-notch entertainment, offer educational opportunities, and maintain strong agricultural roots, celebrating everything Ohio has to offer.

The 2024 Ohio State Fair showcased impressive metrics:

  • Exhibitors and participants came from all 88 counties.
  • A total of 33,943 free admission tickets were distributed to community and charitable organizations.
  • Free admission was offered to all libraries across Ohio for youth participating in the State Library of Ohio Summer Reading Program.
  • $25,500 was awarded in scholarships to Ohio youth.

152 free shows or events featured ASL interpretation, and ASL interpretation was provided at all paid shows in the WCOL Celeste Center, in partnership with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.

Tickets were purchased by visitors from all 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, and countries including Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, Korea, and Puerto Rico.

The total Midway revenue from rides and games exceeded $3.2 million.

Vendor concession sales across the fairgrounds totaled more than $8.3 million.

45,151 concert tickets were sold for shows at the WCOL Celeste Center.

346 vendors operated at the fair, with approximately 59% being Ohio vendors.

The Sale of Champions brought in more than $260,000, with $134,500 going to the Virgil L. Strickler Youth Reserve Program to support Ohio State Fair youth exhibitors.

Food highlights included:

  • Over 42,000 lemonades or lemon shake-ups purchased.
  • 21,992 corn dogs sold.
  • 18,515 ears of roasted corn enjoyed.
  • 16,480 funnel cakes devoured.
  • 16,115 slices of pizza eaten.
  • More than 13,800 orders of french fries consumed.
  • 8,361 orders of cotton candy enjoyed.
  • 6,473 cream puffs from Schmidt's sold.
  • Nearly 1,000 pickle lemonades purchased.
  • Nearly 1,800 flights of deviled eggs and 5,839 single deviled eggs in various flavors purchased.
