Milburn Joins Meristem Crop Performance

Experienced marketing and design professional and team leader Katie Milburn has joined Meristem Crop Performance Group, LLC, one of the fastest-growing direct-to-farm crop input suppliers in America. Milburn becomes Meristem's new director-brand, marketing and communications.

"We're very happy that Katie Milburn is on-board to help us impact and serve our growing numbers of farmer-customers and dealer-partners," said Mitch Eviston, Meristem founder and CEO. "Katie has a history of leading communication teams and getting results and we are excited she's on our team. She's a leader AND a do-er, and that's the kind of person we need to help us take Meristem to the next level."

Milburn has deep experience in design and marketing, coming to Meristem from Nachurs Alpine Solutions, where she was lead the marketing communications team for agricultural and industrial chemical products and services. Earlier in her career she was senior graphic designer for ESI (Fellowes International), where she worked with sales, leadership and led multiple teams in defining and achieving business development objectives. Prior to that, she has worked with roles in real estate, finance and other businesses; honing her skill in B2B/B2C marketing, social media, direct mail, training, and leadership development. She says she loves agriculture and is looking forward to leading the next phase of Meristem's communications development.

"Meristem clearly engages customers and dealers in a unique way," said Milburn. "Marketing here is on a solid foundation and it's not only about quality products at a great price point, but also about a very positive Meristem customer experience. Whether the touchpoint is social media, training material, video, or packaging, we want the encounter with Meristem to be impactful and enticing. I'm truly excited to join the team and help move Meristem forward."

Milburn has lived throughout the U.S. and abroad. She has a BA in Art and Design from Point Loma Nazarene University (San Diego, Calif.) and a master's in design communication from Ulster University (Derry, Northern Ireland). Milburn resides in Delaware, Ohio. When not working, Milburn enjoys traveling, cooking and cultivating her growing jungle of houseplants.
