The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will join the Indian Lake Watershed Project to host a meeting Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at Indian Lake High School to discuss the comprehensive lake management plans designed to control excessive aquatic vegetation at Indian Lake.
ODNR contracted with Aqua Doc and the Indian Lake Watershed Project hired Restorative Lake Sciences to collect data from and study Indian Lake. Comprehensive lake management plans were then developed. These multifaceted plans will provide the steps for ODNR to take in 2023 to mitigate excessive vegetation before the summer boating season kicks off.
Individuals interested in learning about the comprehensive lake management plans can attend the meeting in one of two ways: in-person at the Auditorium at Indian Lake High School or virtually via Microsoft Teams. Both in-person and virtual attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
