Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Invites Applications for 2024 Scholarships

Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Invites Applications for 2024 Scholarships

The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation is extending an invitation for students passionate about agriculture to apply for their 2024 scholarships. With 14 scholarship funds available, nearly 50 awards will be granted to deserving Ohio students from rural, suburban, and urban communities. The scholarships aim to support individuals pursuing degrees with connections to the agricultural industry.

Among the newly established funds, the Lou Ann Putnam Memorial Scholarship Fund for Hardin County focuses on removing financial barriers to education in agriculture or related fields. Other scholarships, such as the Bruce and Carlene Patterson Agricultural Scholarship, Yvonne Lesicko Memorial Scholarship, and Bill and Helen Swank Scholarship, offer perpetual support to deserving individuals.

The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation provides opportunities for students to receive financial assistance, fostering education and skill development within the agricultural workforce. Interested applicants can apply online at ofbf.org/foundation/scholarships until March 31.

The foundation emphasizes its commitment to inspiring and educating the next generation of farmers, building a workforce prepared to contribute to the progress and prosperity of Ohio agriculture.

For more information on available scholarships and the application process, visit ofbf.org/foundation/scholarships or contact Kelly Warner at 614-246-8205.
