By Andi Anderson

Abigale Campbell, a fourth-generation farmer and agriscience educator, emerged triumphant in the 2024 Ohio Farm Bureau Discussion Meet. Holding degrees from Ohio State and the University of Kentucky, Campbell's dedication to agriculture shines through her role as an FFA advisor at Fort Frye High School.

As the Discussion Meet winner, Campbell reaps rewards sponsored by Nationwide and Farm Credit Mid-America, including a $3,000 cash prize, complimentary registration to the 2025 YAP Winter Leadership Experience, and an expense-paid trip to the 2025 American Farm Bureau Annual Convention in San Antonio.

The other finalists, Kane Lewis, Kendall Lovejoy, and Kameron Rinehart, join Campbell in the limelight. All finalists, sponsored by Nationwide, Farm Credit Mid-America, and Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association, receive a softshell jacket and complimentary registration to the 2025 YAP Winter Leadership Experience.

The Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals program, dedicated to members aged 18-35, fosters leadership development. Hosting events like the Winter Leadership Experience and contests such as Outstanding Young Farmer and Excellence in Agriculture, the program propels the next generation in agriculture.
