Adele Flynn, from Wellington, celebrates her third consecutive term as District 3 trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. Her re-election at the 105th annual meeting reinforces her commitment to serving Cuyahoga, Erie, Huron, and Lorain counties within Ohio’s thriving agricultural sphere.
In her role, Flynn contributes to governing Ohio's primary farm and food organization. Alongside her husband, Eric, she manages a full-time farm operation, focusing on a diverse range of endeavors, from a cow-calf enterprise to raising freezer beef, show calves, and breeding stock. Their agricultural footprint spans roughly 1,100 acres dedicated to cash grains.
Beyond the farm, Flynn actively participates in community initiatives, serving as a 4-H advisor and holding influential positions on boards such as Centerra Co-op's Board of Directors and the Ohio Soybean Council's Board of Trustees. Notably, she represents the Ohio State University as a delegate for the Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching.
Ohio Farm Bureau's mission underscores collective efforts to advance agriculture and fortify local communities, aligning with Flynn's dedication to fostering progress within the farming landscape. Adele Flynn's re-election stands as a testament to her commitment to Ohio farmers and their thriving agricultural interests.
