Ohio's weather forecast for the upcoming days and into next week suggests a shift in conditions. Moisture will move out towards the east and north, allowing sunshine to return across most of the state. Temperatures are expected to gradually warm up, accompanied by increasing humidity levels. The forecast indicates a mostly dry pattern, with limited precipitation expected until the end of next week in northern Ohio. Meanwhile, temperatures next week are projected to be above average.
There is a potential for some moisture to affect southern Ohio from Wednesday to Friday, originating from a disturbance in the southeastern United States. Heat-induced scattered showers could develop, covering approximately 40% of the affected areas each day. Combined over the three-day period, the coverage may increase to around 70%. A map highlighting this potential has been provided.
Looking further ahead, a front is developing in the western and central corn belt regions around the 24th of June. However, this front is slowing down, casting uncertainty on the likelihood of significant precipitation until at least the 25th. Nonetheless, this system is being closely monitored as it holds the potential to impact the entire state of Ohio.
