Emily Rudd, a native of Bucyrus, has been appointed as the Farm Bureau Organization Director for Clinton, Fayette, Greene, and Warren counties. Growing up on a small market goat farm in north central Ohio, Rudd participated in 4-H and FFA showing lambs and goats. Her parents have been members of the Crawford County Farm Bureau for many years.
Rudd's association with the Farm Bureau began as a county scholarship recipient and intern for the Crawford, Marion, Morrow, and Richland County Farm Bureaus. She was a member of the Collegiate Farm Bureau at Wilmington College and has been a Young Agricultural Professionals member in Crawford County for the past two years. She has also attended Farm Bureau's leaders trip to Washington, D.C., and Ag Day at the Capital through her YAP membership.
Rudd graduated from Wilmington College in December with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. She received her FFA American Farmer degree in 2021.
As an organization director, Rudd will work to promote and protect Ohio's agricultural industry by engaging with members, organizing events, and advocating for agricultural policies.
