Discover the interesting link between grassy fields that stick around year after year and the homes of birds that live in open areas. There's an event coming up on August 22nd at 6:00 pm where you can learn more about this. It's called "Using Native Warm Season Grasses in Your Grazing System."
The person leading the talk is Jason Jones, knowledgeable birds and plants expert, who focuses on pheasants and quail. Jason will talk about special grasses that stick around all year, and which ones are good for fields where animals graze. He'll also share how these grasses help make good places for birds like quails and pheasants to live. Jason will even bring examples of these special grasses and seeds you can look at.
The event will be at the OSU Extension – Office, which is at 5362 US HWY 42 Mt. Gilead 43338, in the AG Credit building. If you have any questions, you can call 419-947-1070.
Don't miss out on this chance to learn about the cool connection between grassy fields that stick around and the homes of birds. Make sure to remember August 22nd on your calendar and get ready to learn exciting new things.
