Ohio Leadership Gathering - Planting Seeds for Change

Ohio Leadership Gathering - Planting Seeds for Change

By Andi Anderson

Farm Bureau members are invited to sow new ideas and reap the rewards at the 2026 Ohio Farm Bureau Winter Leadership Experience, themed Harvesting New Horizons. Scheduled for January 23–24 at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark, the event promises a day and a half of inspiration, learning, and connection for Ohio’s Young Ag Professionals.

More than 400 participants from across the state will join for workshops, tours, keynote sessions, and breakout discussions that explore innovative ideas to boost farms, careers, and leadership skills. The event also includes fun networking sessions, great food, and a Future YAP Club designed for children in grades K–6, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.

To support participation, the Marion County Farm Bureau will reimburse up to $500 in registration fees for attendees who contact the county office before the event. Interested members can register online and notify the office at marion@ofbf.org or 419-747-7488 to confirm their eligibility for reimbursement.

Registration costs $150 per person through December 17. After that, fees increase to $175, with registration closing January 6. Participants must arrange their own lodging, but special hotel rates are available through January 5 while supplies last.

The event encourages attendees to explore innovation, network with mentors, and discover opportunities in agribusiness. Whether expanding a family farm or launching a new venture, this experience helps participants grow as leaders.

New ideas, new faces, and new horizons await — it’s time to harvest success together.
