The role involves working part-time at the Franklin County Farm Bureau office, with opportunities for additional hours during special programs. The compensation for this position is $10 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Event and Program Coordination: Assist with planning and executing events, as well as supporting county leaders on special projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Membership Development: Help grow individual and family memberships by prospecting among farmers and consumers. This includes fostering group memberships and partnerships.
- Content Creation: Contribute to a strong social media presence by developing engaging content. Assist with newsletters and other publications to enhance community outreach.
- Office Operations Support: Work on various administrative tasks such as member correspondence, social media management, and marketing. Provide support to Nationwide agencies and member services.
- Volunteer Engagement: Motivate and recognize volunteers while assisting them in achieving program goals.
- Other Duties: Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the supervising director.
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies, preferably in agriculture. Key skills include organizational abilities, public speaking, and basic computer proficiency. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
