AgCredit rural homeowners, and agribusinesses in northern Ohio, has announced its 2024 Mission Fund grants. A total of $117,000 will be distributed among 10 community organizations to enhance the quality of life across rural Ohio.
Now in its seventh year, the Mission Fund reflects AgCredit’s dedication to advancing agriculture and improving rural communities. Grants are awarded based on proposals meeting criteria in education, environment, technology, and rural quality of life.
2024 Mission Fund Recipients
The selected organizations and their grant amounts are:
- 4-H Camp Palmer, Fulton County: $10,000
- Agricultural Education Department, Van Buren Local School, Hancock County: $8,000
- Crawford County Junior Fair Board, Crawford County: $15,000
- Friends of Fox-Shank Living Laboratory, Wood County: $3,900
- Norwalk Fire Department, Huron County: $5,100
- Ottawa County Agricultural Society, Ottawa County: $15,000
- Paulding County Area Foundation, Paulding County: $15,000
These grants will support diverse initiatives, including agricultural education, community infrastructure improvements, environmental conservation, and technological advancements.
