CLAAS Strengthens Presence In South Dakota

By Scout Nelson

CLAAS continues to invest in Midwest agriculture with a new FarmPoint dealership planned for Mitchell, South Dakota, opening in 2026. The new location will strengthen local access to CLAAS parts, service, and advanced farm equipment.

The Mitchell dealership will serve combine customers previously supported by Butler Machinery Company. It will offer the full CLAAS product lineup, including LEXION and TRION combines, JAGUAR forage harvesters, and AXION, ARION, and XERION tractors.

In addition, CLAAS plans to expand grower support in the Aberdeen area with a regional hub announcement expected in the first half of 2026. The network aims to reduce downtime for farmers and enhance service flexibility through faster local response times.

“The CLAAS FARMPOINT model is built around service, flexibility and farmer convenience,” said Patricio Frangella, head of commercial development at CLAASFARMPOINT. “We’re excited to show our continued commitment to the Midwest and provide growers with enhanced local expertise and around-the-clock support to keep them running.”

This expansion underlines CLAAS’ commitment to providing hands-on support and strengthening agricultural operations in one of the nation’s most productive regions.
