Nufarm Americas Inc. has received EPA registration for its latest insecticide products, Naxypro® and Naxypro® Plus. These new formulations utilize chlorantraniliprole, a proven molecule recognized for its strong and lasting control over lepidopteran pests that threaten crop yields.
Naxypro contains 1.69 pounds of active ingredient per gallon and serves as a reliable pest management tool for fruit and nut producers. It offers protection for up to three weeks against key pests like codling moth, navel orangeworm, and peach twig borer.
Naxypro Plus pairs chlorantraniliprole (0.89 lb/gal) with bifenthrin (1.33 lb/gal), creating a dual-action formula designed for large-acre crops such as soybeans, corn, cereals, and cotton. This combination ensures protection against a range of damaging insects including armyworms, earworms, soybean loopers, aphids, mites, and whiteflies.
Another product, Naxypro Duo, is awaiting final EPA registration. This upcoming blend of chlorantraniliprole and bifenthrin aims to deliver broad-spectrum coverage for high-value crops like tree nuts, fruits, and vegetables while minimizing harm to beneficial species.
“The Naxypro insecticide portfolio opens the door to channel partners seeking a technical alternative,” said Jeff Wagner, VP of Sales, Crop Protection at Nufarm. “It’s a win for growers across crop markets who need access to dependable chlorantraniliprole solutions with economic upside now, as well as formulation strides that add advantage in years to come.”
The Naxypro range will support vital U.S. acres during the 2026 crop year, with commercial availability beginning in January.
