Huron County Farm Bureau is continuing its strong support for youth agricultural programs by offering special benefits to Farm Bureau member families participating in the 2026 Huron County Fair. The initiative recognizes the dedication and hard work of young exhibitors involved in agricultural and educational projects throughout the year.
For many years, Farm Bureau has supported organizations such as 4-H, FFA, and other youth development programs that help students gain valuable skills in leadership, agriculture, and community involvement. Through this effort, the organization aims to encourage continued participation in these important programs while celebrating the accomplishments of local youth.
As part of the exclusive member benefits available during the 2026 Huron County Fair, eligible families will receive custom stall signs and project signs for youth exhibits. These signs will help participants proudly display their projects and showcase their connection to Farm Bureau during fair week.
The benefit applies to both livestock and still projects. Families exhibiting multiple projects can request signs for each qualifying entry. The personalized signs are designed to recognize the effort that youth exhibitors invest in preparing and presenting their work throughout the year.
To qualify for the program, participants must be active Farm Bureau members by July 31, 2026. Eligible families will be able to request the number of signs needed for their exhibits before the fair begins.
In addition to receiving custom signs, each qualifying youth exhibitor will receive a $25 check as a token of appreciation and encouragement. The checks will be mailed after the conclusion of the 2026 fair. This financial incentive further highlights Farm Bureau’s commitment to supporting young people involved in agriculture and community-based educational programs.
Programs such as 4-H and FFA provide students with opportunities to develop practical skills, gain confidence, and learn responsibility through hands-on experiences. By recognizing exhibitors through special benefits and incentives, Farm Bureau continues to invest in the future of agriculture and rural communities.
Families who are not currently members but wish to participate in the program can join Farm Bureau before the eligibility deadline. Membership provides access to various opportunities and allows families to take advantage of programs that support agricultural education and youth involvement.
The initiative reflects Farm Bureau’s ongoing commitment to recognizing young exhibitors and encouraging participation in county fair activities. Through these efforts, the organization helps celebrate the achievements of local youth while promoting the values of agriculture, leadership, and community engagement.
