On June 1, 2022, Ohio corn stocks totaled 211 million bushels, approximately 17 percent above a year earlier, according to Cheryl Turner, state statistician, USDA NASS, Ohio Field Office. About 45 percent of the corn was stored on farms. The third quarter disappearance was 169 million bushels, compared with 148 million bushels a year earlier.
Soybean stocks on June 1, 2022, were 61.7 million bushels. That was 11 percent higher than stocks a year earlier. Farm stocks of soybeans were 21.0 million bushels. The third quarter indicated disappearance was 78.5 million bushels, compared with 64.2 million bushels during the same period a year ago.
Wheat stocks on June 1, 2022, were 26.6 million bushels, 37 percent above a year ago. Fourth quarter indicated disappearance was 14.8 million bushels compared with 13.2 million bushels last year.
