The Paul Bunyan Show, one of the oldest and largest forest industry trade shows in the United States, has announced that exhibitor space for its 2024 event is completely sold out.
Scheduled for October 4-6 at the Guernsey County Fairgrounds in Old Washington, Ohio, this year marks the 66th annual celebration of Ohio’s thriving forest products industry.
The industry employs over 115,000 individuals and contributes more than $30 billion to the state’s economy.
“The Paul Bunyan Show is a three-day celebration of a vital part of the state’s economy,” said Jenna Reese, Executive Director of the Ohio Forestry Association. The show will feature roughly 170 exhibitors showcasing their latest products, many of which include live equipment demonstrations, highlighting the best of forest machinery and tools.
Husqvarna, a leading name in outdoor power products, will once again serve as the show’s title sponsor for the 18th consecutive year.
Located at Booth #510-513, Husqvarna will offer valuable training sessions throughout the weekend, focusing on chainsaw safety, cutting and felling techniques, technical tree climbing, aerial cutting, and hazard cutting.
Additional prominent sponsors include Buckeye Power Sales (Booth #133), Columbus Equipment Company (Booth #400, 401, 406, 407), LaRoche Tree Service, Inc. (Booth #434, 440), Murphy Tractor (Booth #441, 442, 446), and Rudd Equipment (Booth #452), each showcasing their latest advancements in forest and outdoor equipment.
The event promises engaging entertainment and education, with attractions like the Great Lakes Timber Show and exciting lumberjack competitions.
Training sessions for landowners, covering topics such as forest management and sustainability, will take place in the Education Hall. The weekend will also feature a wood auction on Sunday at 2 p.m., offering attendees the chance to purchase firewood, sawn lumber, and other wood products.
The Paul Bunyan Show remains a premier platform for the forestry community to connect, learn, and celebrate the innovations that drive the industry forward. For more details and updates, visit the Ohio Forestry Association’s website or follow the Paul Bunyan Show on social media.
